Prairie Koshi

Description:

Fused Glass  and Burl Wood Veneer Room Screen; 7.5’ H x 8’ W x 3’ D

Artists:  Debi Normington (Conceptual Design and Glass) and Jim Swan (Wood)

Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright and his light screens, “Prairie Koshi”, provides its owner the opportunity to reconfigure the space within their home without losing the interconnected totality of today’s open architecture.

Wright’s understanding of Japanese culture reinforced his view that artistic expression of Euclidian geometric forms revealed the “aesthetic skeleton” of his work and the indivisible part that the art and artist is of the unified cosmos.

We hope you enjoy our homage to Mr. Wright’s work.
