Artist Bio

Debi Normington

Debi became a working glass artist four years ago following a successful career in Finance and Operations in Silicon Valley’s high tech industry.  In her mid 40’s she wanted to change careers and given her love of glass and extensive glass collection it was a natural for her to try her hand at making glass art.   She began reading about how to do fused glass, and finally by taking classes and working in the studios of other fused glass art masters.  Today, Debi has her own studio in Las Vegas, Nevada doing commissions, as well as selling her work through select galleries.

Debi’s work has been described as: “Fresh, Fun, Functional”... “Amazing color and light play to make the bowl’s appearance change as the day changes”... “Something new and different every time I see her work!”  Debi’s art includes architectural and decorative art pieces such as room dividers; cabinet glass, sculptural, wall, floor, and table art; bowls; and platters.  Every piece is a unique and original masterpiece that you will want to add to you collection.
